Northern Lights

07 September 2012

Dear Travelers,

Let me talk about the Northern Lights, Aurora curtains occur in the upper atmosphere between 80-320km (50-200 miles) above earths surface and are particularly prevalent in the area surrounding the Labrador Coast along the arctic circle. Over the Magnetic North Pole earth's magnetic field concentrates and channels electrons, creating the pattern of light associated with the Aurora. Colors emitted are mostly reds and greens. However, Auroral displays are infinitely varied shifting and changing constantly.

Rinell :-)
