Tahanea Atoll

These neighboring atolls are both uninhabited, and the perfect place for exploration. Above the waves we may discover pristine beaches or Zodiacs may whisk us into the lagoons on a voyage in search of the endemic Tuamotu Sandpiper and other wildlife unique to this area. The Tuamotus have only 57 species of birds, but ten of these are endemic, 13 are endangered and one is extinct. In true expedition style, our activities here will depend on sea conditions, especially for an afternoon of watersports, while snorkelers and divers immerse themselves in the underwater realm.
